Cooperation of the General Satellite Corporation with Latin American countries

After the meeting the Foreign Broadcasting Projects Department Director S.L. Dolgopolsky noted that "diplomats recognized the relevance and timeliness of such projects for both government authorities and business community of the Latin America region. Moreover, they are interested to present these programs to the competent authorities and potential partners, as well as to provide information support to the General Satellite Corporation in their countries".

The event was held under the auspices of the National Committee for economic cooperation promotion with Latin America (NC SESLA), whose member is General Satellite.

The meeting was attended by members of most diplomatic missions of Latin America in Russia, including the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic Jorge Luis Perez Alvarado, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay Marcial Bobadilla Guillen and Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala Romeo Arturo Duarte Ortiz, staff of embassies and trade missions of Panama, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Cuba, as well as representatives of the press – Agency Prensa Latina.
