General Satellite Corporation has joined the Board of the Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Pakistan. Recently Sergey Dolgopolsky, Director of the Department of foreign broadcasting projects has been appointed Vice-president of the organization. The President of the Business Council is a well-known Russian political and social activist Gennady Seleznev.

The Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Pakistan (RBCCP), created on the eve of the official visit of the president of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari to the Russian Federation on May the 12th, 2011 has been functioning for almost two years. During this time the Council has become the center of attraction for Russian entrepreneurs who want to establish mutually beneficial relations with Pakistan. The organization aims to promote the boost of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and the expansion of activities in the implementation of joint projects and investments.
