GS Group international investment and industry holding company has launched an Investment arm focused on helping young innovative technology companies and start-ups within the Pay-TV and technology industry to raise funds. The holding company will introduce its investment opportunities on September 15, 2014 at IBC show, the premier annual event for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of entertainment and news content worldwide.
GS Group holding company will introduce GS Invests on September 15, 2014 within IBC show. The new business unit will not only support innovative technologies to raise funding, but will also manage the holding´s M&A across multiple industries with primary focus on technology and Pay-TV. Attendees can expect to raise any questions and hold private face-to-face discussions following the presentations with any of the speakers of GS Group companies.
Gregory Wieczorek, Head of Strategic Mergers & Acquisitions, GS Invests, will introduce GS Invests and GS Group high-tech international businesses and share one of the investment cases in regard Neotion & Tellyo within International Broadcasting Projects.
Jakub Majkowski, Co-Founder and CTO of Tellyo, will share its experience of getting support from GS Group. Tellyo’s Share the Moment service, demanded by viewers and TV operators, allows just-seen TV moments to be shared with a single click on Facebook and Twitter through second screen devices. Support of Tellyo’s service was the first investment provided to a foreign project by GS Venture, GS Group corporate venture fund, in 2014. Participants will learn of the project’s success story and of its plans for development.
