GS Group at the XIV Russian Venture Fair: how to introduce a startup to a global market?

Representatives of GS Group holding and its Venture Capital Department GS Venture will take part in the XIV Russian Venture Fair, which will take place in the framework of the International Forum of Technological Development «TECHNOPROM-2013» on November, 14-15, 2013 in Novosibirsk.

Representatives of the holding company will deliver reports at the section «Conclusion of global markets: the pitfalls». Andrey Bezrukov, Chief Marketing Officer, GS Group, and Ksenia Sklyarova, Venture Capital Department, GS Venture, will tell success stories of the holding in the launch of business on the global markets and development of television broadcasting projects in South-East Asia, as well as the a Venture Capital Department approach to the selection of start-ups that the holding is ready to support. «It is important that projects are competitive in the international market, it is one of the main criteria for the evaluation of the project», said Mr. Bezrukov. «Projects that we approve will be able to use a unique experience of the Russian holding company operation in the global market and the launch of projects outside Russia».

During the Venture Fair GS Group will expand on a topic that Novosibirsk project authors might take interest in, which is what the possibilities are to support their initiatives on the part of the holding. GS Group investment may reach 500 thousand to 300 million rubles into a separate startup. The total volume of finance that the company is planning to allocate to supporting venture capital projects could reach 1.5 billion rubles by the end of 2014.

In addition to investments GS Group is ready to support start-ups in the field of logistics, help in bringing the finished product to the market, advertising and promotion.
