GS Group investment and industry holding will hold a range of events within Innoprom 2014. Russia’s main industrial trade fair will take place on July 09-12, 2014 in Ekaterinburg. As a leading exporter of Russian high-tech solutions abroad, the holding will share its experience with exhibitors of how to launch digital broadcasting in Southeast Asia. GS Group R&D center specialists will introduce an innovative technology – a unique proprietary nano-additive already launched into mass production.
Within the trade fair GS Group will host the round table on “The new generation of composite chromium coatings”. Vladimir Kokhia, Deputy General Director on innovative technologies of the Prancor factory, a part of GS Group, will report on chrome plating using carbon nanostructured materials (NCM). The round table will gather Russian and international experts in the field of industrial innovations, institutes of development, key business Media representatives.
Development and wide application of NCM in various industries is one of GS Group key activities. The holding has got NCM mass-manufactured first in Russia and keeps developing innovative ways of using it since last year. A new chrome plating technology to give materials the unique properties, as well as nano-additive, used in it, are GS Group own development. Innovative method proposed by GS Group specialists, allowing chroming products and various materials, qualitatively differs from formerly developed technologies. Wear resistance, hardness and other properties of the products using NCM Chrome technology are much higher than when using chroming methods of the past generation. Nano-additive is manufactured in innovation cluster Technopolis GS, developed by the holding in Kaliningrad region.
Capabilities of Technopolis GS industries for consumer electronics contract manufacture and for integrated chips packaging with SIP and 3D TSV technologies will be introduced at the exhibition booth (pavilion №3, booth 3B2).
GS Group will take part in the round table “Modern Industrial and Technology Policies in Asia: challenges and opportunities for Russia”, organized by the Center for Strategic Research “North-West”. Sharaf Kochkarov, Representative for External Relations, Foreign Broadcasting Projects Department, GS Group, will unveil the successful experience of GS Group entering own digital pay-TV operators to the Southeast Asia markets.
