Public Company "NPO "Digital Television Systems" became a registered United Nations Vendor

Public Company "NPO "Digital Television Systems"(hereinafter “DTS”), member of the Association of Kaliningrad Region’s manufacturers and traders of radio electronic equipment“General Satellite Corporation", became a registered United Nations Vendor.

“DTS”, one of the first enterprises of the project of innovations “The Area of Scientific and Technological Development – Gusev Technopolis” to register with the United Nations Procurement Division (hereinafter UN/PD), provided all the necessary documents as required by the UN/PD, e.g. quality management and environmental policy certificates, foreign partners list, proof of manufacturing capabilities, etc. After thorough checks and careful consideration of its application, the “DTS” request for the status of the registered United Nations Vendor was granted on September 08, 2010. The enterprise has been entered in the official suppliers Roster and is now allowed to bid in tenders advertised by the UN. It is undoubtedly a sign of recognition of the projects being implemented by the General Satellite Corporation, which invests heavily into the development of radio-electronic industry in Russia. Work for the international organizations is an important step in the process of new market development. It also underlines the commitment of “DTS” and of the General Satellite Corporation to principles of justice and focus on social development: the company shares the values of the United Nations.

“The Area of Scientific and Technological Development − Gusev Technopolis”.
The project objective: to create radio-electronic industry cluster in the town of Gousev (Kaliningrad region), a new efficient center of innovative development in Russia. Six high-technology plants should be constructed, three of which have already been commissioned. Investments amount to 5 billion Russian rubles for the period 2008-2013, and 1,5 billion have already been invested.
