From 24 to 27 August 2010, the village of Sary-Oi on the north shore of Issyk-Kul lake (Kyrgyzstan) hosted the Seminar of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) about "Implementation of digital broadcasting", and the 12th meeting of the DB CG RCC.

The agenda of the ITU Workshop included State programs of digital broadcasting implementation in the Kyrgyz Republic, Ukraine and Moldova, experience of digital television in Europe, questions of DVB-T, DVB-T2 and DVB-H standards equipment testing, as well as general issues of DTT networks construction.

At the RCC meeting, there was an interchange of experiences and plans for the introduction of digital broadcasting in member countries, and the discussion on requirements for technical specifications of the receiving equipment and on the results of trials in DTT testing areas.

General Satellite representatives made a report titled "Development of receiving equipment", which generated keen interest and was reflected in the Meeting Records. As practice showed, General Satellite DTT experience turns out to be in demand in both domestic and foreign markets.
