The General Satellite Corporation will take part in activities of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC), in particular of the Coordination Group for Digital Broadcasting.
Companies and organizations can only cooperate with the RCC if they are recommended by the Communications Administrations (CA) of their country. General Satellite will share its experience in the course of developing guidelines and standards for digital broadcasting in the CIS countries. Given the close coordination of the RCC with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), it is in fact an opportunity to discuss the development of TV broadcasting with industry leaders. The first step will be the Corporation's report on the development of the specifications requirements for the reception equipment and the network planning basics for digital terrestrial TV broadcasting.
