GS Group at Geek Picnic’2013: holding to offer up to 300 million rubles for a project by young talented ‘geeks’

International multi-sector holding GS Group is supporting Geek Picnic, Russia’s largest open-air festival about cutting edge technology, science and art. At Geek Picnic on August, 3-4, in St. Petersburg, GS Group will announce how young developers of promising projects can get the holding’s support, including investment, for their startups. The total sum that the company is planning to invest in venture projects in years 2013-2014 is 1.5 billion roubles.

Geek Picnic festival is to be held in St. Petersburg for the third time already.  It is a big event for everyone interested in modern science, state-of-the-art technology and design. Many of those who will attend it are ready to develop challenging innovative projects and brand new technology which would seem absolutely impossible just yesterday. It’s them who would be interested in finding out what kind of support GS Venture – the branch of the holding that is dealing with venture projects – is ready to offer to young creative and active project developers.

GS Venture is ready to help high-motivated entrepreneurs and startup teams at all stages of projects development. It offers complex support to authors of interesting business ideas: from investments and material and technical support to assistance in placing final products in the market, their advertising and promotion. Investments into a single project will amount up to 300 million rubles for each startup.
